I don't know what the odds would be on this in Vegas but on Thursday we got our seventh granddaughter. That means our daughter has four girls no boys and our son now has three girls no boys.

All seven are healthy and wonderful and we are very blessed to have them. Her name is Madeline and she will be called Mattie. She weighed 6 lbs 7 ozs. She is 20 inches long with black hair, blue eyes and dimples. We will get to see her either Sunday or Monday. Bill asks alot of questions about her like details of who she looks like.

Otherwise same old, same old from Houston. We have dropped out of the activities at the club for a week or so Abby our 20 years old granddaughter and her boyfriend Bryan have been working on planting the back gardens for us. The same family that did the hard scape was supposed to do it but they said they had a emergency and I never heard back from them. Bryan did a very professional job. Everything looks so small but now we can just sit back and watch the garden grow. Yesterday Bill was watering the plants.....so he has a new job and he enjoys it. Till....................

Hi Mona,
I think you are the only one still reading the blog. Thanks for not making me feel like I'm talking to myself. I think of you often and hope you are healing. I heard on TV that the body heals better than the grief in the heart. Does it help that you travel for work and are not home all the time ? Do you like to garden...now is a good time of year to plant some things while the weather is cool and refreshing. The garden has always been my therapy. Greg got the gift from his Parran. I think it was the day after Mattie was born. Love Ya Lots Ruby

I am so happy for you! Wow 7 girls. I have been meaning to call and tell you that Mignon Faget has a snowball line. This might be a nice gift for Lori. Send a picture when things start to grow.
Love ya,
Mary

Hi Ruby, congrats on your 7th grandchild. It is great isn't it? We have 8 and that is the final count. Tonya has 3 girls, ages 12,3 and 18 months, and 1 boy, age 14. and Terry Jr. has 4 boys, twins age 8, a 2 yr old and a 2 month old. Never thought I would have 8.....We pray for Billy and your family every day. I so look forward to your blog so please keep doing it as long as you are able to. I understand that time is an issue for you. We are having struggles of our own, but we so look forward to one day being able to travel down south and visiting with you and Billy. We are praying and hoping that Billy gets stronger and believing that he will one day get out of that wheelchair and walk like a champ again. We love you, Terry and Bonnie

Ruby - each day is different but I would not say better. I put his headstone on Monday and that gave me some peace.. my name is on it - so I am with him every day now - the week before he died he asked me to go with him - so I hope that gave him some peace. I think about you and I know how hard it is but I think how lucky you are to have him with you. take care stay strong and when I finish creating the foundation - I will send you and Billy the annoucement. I hope Greg liked the watch and hopefully it was not too much for him - it was the last anniversary present I gave Harry and he loved it so much.
